Our roving correspondent travelled from Michigan to the tour's start in Franklin, TN winding down the Natchez Trace concluding in Natchez, MS. Then he took an interesting tamale/ BBQ-intensive route back near the eastern shores of the Mississippi. If that doesn't sound interesting it's because I forgot to mention the car in which this happened: a 1935 Rolls-Royce Phantom II.
